We recently wrapped up our study of time. In first grade, we practice telling and writing time to the hour and half hour. While drawing time to half-hour, we focused on drawing the hour hand halfway between the two hours, just like it is on a real clock. Some vocabulary we used: analog clock, digital clock, hour hand, minute hand, hour, half-hour. We also started to think about how long activities are (second, minute, hour) and A.M./P.M.
